  1. Sorry – I’m lost on this one – I like the ‘John Robinson’ tutorials – make sure you get the right John Robinson – you will know by the quality.

“A while ago I watched a short clip of you painting sea with a wave just breaking. You showed how to paint the sea using Z strokes on black canvas. I can’t find it again. It is not the crashing wave one. Any tips for finding it?”

  3. Hi Len

I have done several of your free online DVD’s for a few weeks now and decided to get the entire DVD Speed Painting set…They arrived today I just watched the first one and I must say I am so glad I got them….the free ones are good but I love the detail you go into and it’s like having your own private painting lesson. As I told you previously….you inspire me and I have already told hubby that Len and I will be painting all day tomorrow via your DVD and my easel :)

Have a pleasant time in Thailand and I look forward to your next lot of DVD’s :) (perhaps with a seascape?) :)

  4. Hi Barbara – You must be mistaken, I have not done a seascape tutorial – if you look for John Robinson Seascapes – he is No.1 – make sure you get the right person as there are a few with that name. – you will know by the quality of his work. Cheers Len

  17. Hi Len,
I found your paintings by accident when surfing the YouTube web, I must say you are one very talented artist and I thankyou for your great work. I could not leave any details above but would like to do the free lessons you have here on your website! I am a pastel artist, doing mainly horses, dogs and western art, but I would really love to be able to paint like this too!

  20. Hello Mr. Len,
I first must say I love all of your art work.
I love to paint, but I never think that any of my paintings are good enough.
I can not draw, but I do try to paint.
I find you lessons some of the best that I have ever seen.
Thanks to your lessons I will continue to paint and maybe someday I will like something.
    Have a blessed day.
    Kathy.
