hi len have you ever painted with just house hold acrylics paints? Sometimes it works and other times the hue is eiether too weak or two strong. I am very much in the leanring atage and a bit reluctant to spend $100 on paints knowing that the results are heading for the bin
Hi John, I know what you mean about the house paint however the brush skills can be gathered with any type of paint.
You might find enjoyment painting in one dark color and white. It takes a bit of concentration as far as the tones of color and cleaning the brush when needed to get a crispy look, but the results can be rewarding.
